Maintenance Schedule - Except European, Australia and New Zealand Models

This maintenance schedule outlines the minimum required maintenance that you should perform to ensure the trouble-free operation of the vehicle. Due to regional and climatic differences, some additional servicing may be required. Please consult the warranty handbook for a more detailed description. Follow the Severe Conditions schedule for replacing engine oil and engine oil filter, if the vehicle is driven MAINLY under one or more of the following conditions: Driving less than 8 km (5 miles) per trip or, in freezing temperatures, driving less than 16 km (10 miles) per trip. Driving in extremely hot over 35 °C (95 °F) conditions. Extensive idling, or long periods of stop-and-go-driving. Trailer towing, driving with a car-top carrier, or driving in mountainous conditions. Driving on muddy, dusty, or de-iced roads. If the vehicle is driven OCCASIONALLY under severe conditions, replace engine oil and engine oil filter according to the normal conditions schedule. Manual transmission model; Follow the Severe Conditions schedule for replacing manual transmission fluid (MTF), if the vehicle is driven MAINLY under one or more of the following conditions: Driving in extremely hot over 35 °C (95 °F) conditions. Trailer towing, driving with a car-top carrier, or driving in mountainous conditions. If the vehicle is driven OCCASIONALLY under severe conditions, replace transmission fluid according to the normal conditions schedule. CVT model; Follow the Severe Conditions schedule for replacing CVT fluid (ATF), if the vehicle is driven under high speed driving in high temperature (over 35 °C/95 °F) condition. If the vehicle is driven OCCASIONALLY under severe conditions, replace transmission fluid according to the normal conditions schedule.

Inspect front and rear brakes Check the brake pad and disc thickness. Check for damage and cracks Check the wheel cylinder for leaks Check the brake linings for cracking, glazing, wear and contamination Check the calipers for damage, leaks, and tightness			Every 10,000 km (6,000 miles) or 6 months
Replace brake fluid Use only DOT 3 brake fluid (We recommend Genuine Honda Brake Fluid). Check that brake fluid level between the upper and lower marks on the reservoir			Every 3 years

Rotate tires Check tire inflation and condition at least per month			Rotate tires every 10,000 km (6,000 miles)
Visually inspect the following items: Check for correct installation and position, check for cracks, deterioration, rust, and leaks. Check tightness of screws, nuts, and joints. If necessary, retighten.
Tie rod ends, steering gearbox, and boots Check rack grease and steering linkage. Check the boot for damage and leaking grease			Every 10,000 km (6,000 miles) or 6 months
Suspension components Check the bolts for tightness Check all dust cover for deterioration and damage
Driveshaft boots Check the boot and boot band for cracks Check rack grease

All fluid levels and condition of fluid Check levels and check for leaks. If necessary, add engine coolant, MTF, ATF,brake fluid, windshield fluid, and battery fluid.
Exhaust system Check the exhaust pipe and muffler for damage, leaks and tightness.
Fuel lines and connections Check fuel lines for loose connections, cracks and deterioration. Retighten loose connections and replace any damaged parts.
