| DTC P1891: | Problem in Start Clutch Control System |
| 1. | Check whether the another DTC is indicated. Is the another DTC indicated? YES - Perform the troubleshooting for the indicated DTC(s). Recheck for DTC P1891 after troubleshooting. NO - Go to 2. |
| 2. | Turn the ignition switch OFF. |
| 3. | Disconnect CVT start clutch pressure control valve connector from the control valve body. |
| 4. | Start the engine, and shift to [D] position. |
| 5. | Check if the vehicle moves. Does the vehicle move? YES - Go to 6. NO - Replace the start clutch.n |
| 6. | Turn the ignition switch OFF. |
| 7. | Reconnect CVT start clutch pressure control valve connector. |
| 8. | Start the engine, and shift to [D] position. |
| 9. | Check if the vehicle creeps and check the creeping speed on level ground. Does the vehicle creep and is the creeping speed about 5 km/h (3 mph)? YES - Go to 10. |
| 10. | Measure the stall speed in [D], [S], [L], and [R] position. Is the stall speed over 3,500 rpm (min-1)? YES - Replace the start clutch.n NO - Go to 11. |
| 11. | Turn the ignition switch OFF. |
| 12. | Disconnect CVT start clutch pressure control valve connector from the control valve body. |
| 13. | Start the engine, and shift to [D] position. |
| 14. | Check if the vehicle moves. Does the vehicle move? YES - The system is OK at this time. Check for loose terminal fit in the PCM connectors. If necessary, substitute a known-good PCM and recheck.n NO - Replace the start clutch.n |
