DTC P2787:
Clutch Temperature Too High (Over 400 °C (752 °F))
NOTE: DTC P2787 is stored when the clutch is protection mode. This can be caused due to frequent UP/DOWN operation. In this case, it is not a malfunction.

Check whether the driver changed gears excessively while driving.
Did the driver change gears excessively while driving?

Not failure, just a rise of the clutch temperature due to excessive gear changes.■

NO

Test-drive the vehicle for at least 15 minutes with the Auto mode, then repeat a start and a stop several times.

Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

In order to cool the system, wait for at least 1 hour.

Check the CLUTCH TEMPERATURE in the DATA LIST with the HDS.
Is the clutch temperature about 400 °C (752 °F) or more?
