Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
-
Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
-
Start the engine, and wait for at least 1 second.
-
Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Check the ENGINE TORQUE DISTURBANCE SIGNAL in the DATA LIST with the HDS.

Does it indicate ACTIVE more than 10 minutes?

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.■

Check for Fuel and Emissions systems DTCs with the HDS.
|
Are any Temporary DTCs or DTCs indicated?

YES
|

Go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.
