Brake Pedal Position Signal Malfunction (from ECM by F-CAN)

Check the BRAKE PEDAL POSITION SWITCH SIGNAL (NORMAL OPEN) and the BRAKE PEDAL POSITION SWITCH SIGNAL (NORMAL CLOSE) in the DATA LIST with the HDS.

Does the NORMAL OPEN SIGNAL indicate OFF and NORMAL CLOSE SIGNAL indicate ON while the brake pedal is not pressed, and changes to the opposite when the brake pedal is pressed?
