Open the globe box. Release the glove box stop on each side, then let the glove box hang down.

Set the mode control dial to VENT ( ).

Detach the mode control cable housing from the clamp (A), and disconnect the inner cable (B) from the mode control linkage (C).

Install the cable in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

Set the recirculation control lever to RECIRCULATE ( ).

Detach the recirculation control cable housing from the clamp (A), and disconnect the inner cable (B) from the recirculation control linkage (C).

Turn the recirculation control linkage fully clockwise, and hold it. Attach the recirculation control cable to the recirculation control linkage, then snap the recirculation control cable housing into the clamp.

After installation, operate the control panel controls to see whether it works properly.

Set the temperature control dial to MAX COOL.

Detach the air mix control cable housing from the clamp (A), and disconnect the inner cable (B) from the air mix control linkage (C).

Install the cable in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
