Remove the center console.

Remove the A/T gear position indicator panel light socket (A) from the indicator panel (B), then remove the bulb (C) from the socket.

Remove the shift lock solenoid/park pin switch/A/T gear position indicator panel light connector (D) from the shift lever bracket base (E), then disconnect the connector.

Disconnect the park pin switch 2P connector (F).

Release the lock tab (G) retaining the shift lock solenoid using thin blade screwdriver, and remove the shift lock solenoid (H).

Replace the shift lock solenoid, solenoid plunger (I), and plunger spring (J) assembly.

Apply silicone grease to the tip of the shift lock stop and solenoid plunger. Keep the connector terminals free of silicone grease.

Install the shift lock solenoid by aligning the joint (K) of the shift lock solenoid plunger with the tip of the shift lock stop (L), then push the shift lock solenoid into the shift lever bracket base securely.

Install the A/T gear position indicator panel light bulb in the panel light socket, then install the socket in the A/T gear position indicator panel.

Route the harness (M) through the harness clamp, and connect the park pin switch 2P connector.

Install the shift lock solenoid/park pin switch/A/T gear position indicator panel light connector on the bracket base, and connect the connector.

Test the shift lock solenoid.

Install the center console.
