Remove the front wiper arms.

Remove the cowl cover and hood hinge covers.

Remove the wiper linkage assembly.

Remove the under cowl panel.

Remove the master cylinder.

Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose (A) from the brake booster.

Disconnect the brake lines (A) from the ABS modulator-control unit (B).

Remove the driver's dashboard undercover.

Remove the lock pin (A) and the joint pin (B), then disconnect the yoke from the brake pedal.

Remove the brake booster mounting nuts (C).

Pull the brake booster (A) forward, then rotate it so the yoke (B) toward the driver's side.

• Be careful not to damage the booster surfaces and threads of the booster stud bolts.
• Be careful not to bend or damage the brake lines or other components hoses and lines.

Remove the brake booster from the engine compartment.

NOTE: Use new booster gasket (C) reassembly.

Install the brake booster in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
