Brake Booster Replacement
LHD Model
  1. Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose (A) from the brake booster.
  1. Remove the brake lines (A) from the clamp (B).
  1. Remove the engine wire harness clamp (A).
  1. Remove the lock pin (A) and the joint pin (B), then disconnect the yoke from the brake pedal.
  1. Remove the brake booster mounting nuts (C).
  1. Remove the brake booster (A) from the engine compartment.
    • Be careful not to damage the booster surfaces and threads of the booster stud bolts.
    • Be careful not to bend or damage the brake lines or other components hoses and lines.
    NOTE:
    • Use new booster gasket (B) reassembly.
    • KG ABS model: Install the brake booster bracket (C) between brake booster and new gasket reassembly.
  1. Install the brake booster in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
