Keyless Receiver Unit Input Test

Keyless Receiver Unit Input Test

1.Remove the driver's dashboard under cover.

2.Remove the mounting nuts and down the under-dash fuse/relay box.

3.Disconnect the 5P connector (A) from the keyless receiver unit (B).

4.Inspect the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.

  • If the terminal are bent, loose or corroded, repair them as necessary, and recheck the system.
  • If the terminals are OK, go to 5.

5.With the connector still disconnected, make these input test at the connector.

  • If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
  • If all the input tests prove OK, replace the keyless receiver unit.
