| 1. | Check for other DTCs. Is another DTC present? YES - Do the appropriate troubleshooting for the DTC.n NO - Go to 2 |
| 2. | Clear the DTC. |
| 3. | Test-drive the vehicle. Does the ABS indicator come on, and is DTC 81 indicated? YES - Replace the ABS modulator-control unit.n NO - Intermittent failure; the vehicle is OK at this time.n |
