1. | Remove the air cleaner housing and intake air duct. |
2. | Disconnect the CVT pulley pressure control valve connector (A).

3. | Measure CVT pulley pressure control valve resistance at the control valve connector.
|
4. | Replace the control valve body if the resistance is out of standard. |
5. | If the resistance is within the standard, connect the battery positive terminal to CVT pulley pressure control valve connector terminal No. 1, and connect the battery negative terminal to the connector terminal No. 2. A clicking sound should be heard. |
6. | If there is no sound, remove the control valve body, and clean the related parts thoroughly in solvent or carburetor cleaners, then recheck. |
