| 1. | Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait at least 3 minutes before beginning work. |
| 2. | Open the glove box, then remove the inner box. |
| 3. | Disconnect the connector between the front passenger's airbag 2P connector (A) and the dashboard wire harness B 2P connector (B).

| 4. | Remove the three mounting nuts (A) from the bracket. Cover the lid and dashboard with a cloth, and pry carefully with a screwdriver to lift the front passenger's airbag (B) out of the dashboard. NOTE: The airbag lid has pawls on its side which attach it to the dashboard.

| 1. | Place the new front passenger's airbag (A) into the dashboard. Tighten the front passenger's airbag mounting nuts (B).

| 2. | Connect the front passenger's airbag 2P connector (A) to the dashboard wire harness B 2P connector (B), then reinstall the inner box.
|
| 3. | Reconnect the battery negative cable. |
| 4. | After installing the airbag, confirm proper system operation: Turn the ignition switch ON (II); the SRS indicator should come on for about 6 seconds and then go off. |
