Brake Booster Replacement

1.Remove the master cylinder.

2.Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister (A) from its holder.

 

3.Release the brake lines (B) from the brake line clip.

4.Remove the clutch hose (M/T) (C) from the holder.

5.Disconnect the vacuum hose (D) from the brake booster.

6.From the cabin; remove the instrument panel stay (A).

 

7.Remove the clip (A) and the joint pin (B), and disconnect the yoke from the brake pedal.

 

8.Remove the brake booster mounting nuts (C).

9.Remove the brake booster (A) from the engine compartment.



  • Be careful not to damage the booster surfaces and threads of the booster stud bolts.
  • Be careful not to bent or damage the brake lines.

 

10.Install the brake booster in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
