- Be careful not to damage the booster surfaces and threads of the booster stud bolts.
- Be careful not to bent or damage the brake lines.
| 1. | Remove the master cylinder. |
| 2. | Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister (A) from its holder.

| 3. | Release the brake lines (B) from the brake line clip. |
| 4. | Remove the clutch hose (M/T) (C) from the holder. |
| 5. | Disconnect the vacuum hose (D) from the brake booster. |
| 6. | From the cabin; remove the instrument panel stay (A).
|
| 7. | Remove the clip (A) and the joint pin (B), and disconnect the yoke from the brake pedal.
|
| 8. | Remove the brake booster mounting nuts (C). |
| 9. | Remove the brake booster (A) from the engine compartment.
|
| 10. | Install the brake booster in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
