Rear Spring Replacement

Removal

1.Raise the rear of the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.

2.Remove the rear wheels.

3.Place a floor jack under of the roar axle beam, and support the rear suspension by raising the jack.

4.Remove the flange bolt (A) from the bottom of the dampers on the left and right side.

 

5.Lower the jack and the rear axle beam, remove the rear spring (A) and upper spring cushion (B).

 

Installation

6.Install the rear spring (A) on the upper spring cushion (B).

NOTE:

  • Set the spring in the clip (C) of the upper spring cushion securely.
  • Align the spring upper end (D) with the stepped part of the upper spring cushion.
  • After installation, be sure that the clip, stopped part and the other rubber parts are not pinched with the spring.

 

7.Lower the rear axle beam, and install the rear spring between the body and rear axle beam. Align the spring lower end (A) with the stepped part (B) of the beam side. Be sure that the spring is not rested of the stopper and guide (C).

 

8.Place a floor jack under of the rear axle beam, and support the rear suspension by raising the jack.

9.Install the bottom of dampers on the right and left side.
